ASEAN Youth Sustainability Summit

Overview In 2024, the ASEAN Sustainability Youth Camp (AYSC 2024) was initiated by Coexist (then AnthropoScene), a student-led initiative. This event brought together students, academics, and practitioners from around the world to engage with Southeast Asian undergraduate students and young professionals. The goal was to foster meaningful dialogue and knowledge exchange on sustainability, empowering the youth to become active agents of change. Building upon the success of the inaugural event, the Coexist aim to develop AYSS as our annual flagship event with topics evolving every year, providing a platform for students and young professionals, particularly from marginalized and underrepresented regions such as Southeast Asia, to connect with global communities. By doing so, we hope to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and insights necessary to address complex climate change and sustainability challenges.
